He's the brother and son of two former presidents.  He's the toast of the town in the must-win swing state of Florida.  And he's the most recent critic of the current GOP candidates vying for the presidential nomination.

Now, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is being heralded as the "White Knight"-- the only viable contender to upset President Obama in November.

And the reason for that: He's figured out what it takes.  Jeb doesn't push too far to the right, something which he believes the other GOP candidates should be doing too.  The Guardian gave a recap of Jeb's advice:

  • "I think it's important for the candidates to recognize though they have to appeal to primary voters, and not turn off independent voters that will be part of a winning coalition," Bush told the audience according to CBS news.
  • Bush also directly took on the strident tone of recent Republican debates, accusing participants of scare-mongering. "I used to be a conservative and I watch these debates and I'm wondering, I don't think I've changed, but it's a little troubling sometimes when people are appealing to people's fears and emotion rather than trying to get them to look over the horizon for a broader perspective and that's kind of where we are," he said according to Fox News.

Jeb's comments have some convinced that his name could be a surprise addition to the 2012 ballot, but the chances of a victory are slim at this stage in the game, especially when a brokered convention seems unlikely.

Romney may be fighting hard to resell himself as "an anti-Washington insider" this week before careening into Super Tuesday, but as Neon Tommy reported earlier in the week, "Romney is extremely likely to gain more momentum by April, when campaign strategist Dan Schnur claims that the winner-take-all delegate awards will most likely allow a single candidate to exponentialize their popularity."

The 'White Knight' may have to postpone his debut for awhile longer.  But then again, America may need a bit more time before the finale to the Bush trilogy is released:
