Guy Pearce, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Mini-Series or Movie. Pearce made fun of the fact that his role involved having sex with Winslet "many, many times.” Pearce went on to thank Winslet for allowing him to "insert myself into your world."

Margo Martindale, Best Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series: "some things just take some time," she said while accepting her award.
Least sincere apology
Charlie Sheen, presenter: “Before I present the award in my old category I wanna take a moment to get something off my chest and say something to all my friends from "Two and a Half Men.” From the bottom of my heart, I wish nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent 8 wonderful years together, I know you will continue to make great television.”
Repeat Performance
Jim Parsons, winner, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series: “I’m really more surprised this time, I have to tell you,” Parsons said in regard to winning after taking the award for lead actor for the second year in a row.
Modern Family Domination
After winning Best Comedy:
On kids: “I especially want to point out all the kids on this cast. Modern family was this close to being animated, that’s how much we didn’t want to work with kids, but these guys bring it every week and the caliber they bring to the show is incredible.”
On tolerance: “A gay couple came up to us and said you’re not just making people laugh you’re making them more tolerant. And I thought, they’re right we are showing the world that there’s nothing wrong with a loving committed relationship between an old man and a hot women. Looking around the room tonight I see many of you agree. Thank you all very, very much.”
