Teemu Selanne hopes to have yet another successful season with the Anaheim Ducks.

A return for the veteran was questionable, as he had knee surgery over the summer, from which he did suffer a few setbacks. Selanne made the announcement Thursday, two days before training camp is set to begin, that he will return for his 19th career season. Selanne, 41, is a key player to the Ducks organization. 

After signing a one-year, $4 million contract, Selanne opted to announce his return through a little online video looking healthy and energetic -- ready for the season to start.

"Hi guys. You guys knew I can't stop playing yet," he said in the video. "So, I'm back. At least one more season. My middle name is 'One More.'"

Selanne, a key player in the Ducks organization, has played in 1,259 NHL games, scored 637 goals, made 703 assists, accumulated 1,340 points, and has served 570 PIM.

Just last season alone, at the age of 40, he played in 73 games (out of a possible 82), scored 31 goals, and made 49 assists earning him 80 points, all while only serving 49 PIM. 

According the USAToday.com, Ducks' General Manager, Bob Murray, said that "he showed again last season, Teemu still has the drive, determination and skill to play at an elite level. Most importantly for us, his passion comes from not just playing, but playing for the Ducks."

The Ducks' season begins in Helsinki on October 7th against the Buffalo Sabres.
