Iran Will Face More Sanctions From U.S. And Allies
President Obama’s chief nuclear adviser said Friday that the U.S. and its allies will impose more sanctions against Iran in the wake of failed nuclear talks with the country.
Officials hope the sanctions, which will take place in the coming weeks, will make the country halt its nuclear weapons program.
The specifics of the sanctions have not yet been released.
Last month Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran's nuclear program had been sabotaged. Though Ahmadinejad would not confirm the source, it is suspected the attack came from the computer worm Stuxnet, which likely originated from the U.S. or Iran.
