Iran's Nuclear Program Sabotaged, Says Ahmadinejad

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Monday that the country's uranium-enrichment program was sabotaged, but he would not say how.

Last Tuesday The Inernational Atomic Energy Agency reported that Iran had stopped feeding uranium into its centrifuges as of Nov. 16.

It's suspected the sabotage came from the Stuxnet computer worm, likely originating from either the U.S. or Israel. However, both countries have not commented on the situation. Iran has also denied that Stuxnet hurt its uranium-enrichment program.

"They intended to stop the ever-increasing progress of Iran in the nuclear field," said Iranian Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi. "But, with the help of God, we discovered the virus exactly at the same spot it wanted to penetrate and prevented the virus from harming" any equipment.
