After a harrowing 24 hours of will-they-won't-they, Eva Longoria finally confirmed that she and husband Tony Parker are separating after 3 years of marriage.

The announcement follows TMZ's report of Tony Parker filing for divorce in the state of Texas on Tuesday, but they later retracted the report, stating there were no report of an actual filing for divorce.

Longoria confirmed the split on her Twitter at approximately 12pm today:

"It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness."

Longoria filed for divorce at Los Angeles Superior Court early on Wednesday, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple, who have a 7-year age gap, married in a castle near Paris, France, in 2007. According to Extra's Mario Lopez, who is also a good friend of Longoria's, allegations of infidelity were behind the split. He confirmed that Longoria had found hundreds of text messages from another woman on Parker's phone.

"Eva wants everyone to know, she's devastated by the rumors of Tony's infidelity. She loved her husband and is heartbroken about their split," said good friend, Mario Lopez. "But she's strong."

Extra also reports that Longoria has cancelled her upcoming appearance at the American Music Awards on Sunday November 21, and will be spending Thanksgiving with family.

Parker, a basketball player for San Antonio Spurs, has yet to release a statement at this time.
