A 90-minute nationally-televised debate between candidates for U.S. Senator for Delaware, Republican Christine O'Donnell and Democrat Chris Coons, focused on her Catholic beliefs and his Marxist beliefs.

The race has received national attention because O'Donnell, running under the Tea Party banner, defeated a favored Republican candidate in the primary. She's also had some controversial ads and notable comments about evolution, witchcraft and masturbation. The views of both candidates generally fall along party lines.
