MTV Video Music Awards 2015: Miley Cyrus Gets Naked And Drops New Album While Hosting

"This show hasn't had a host in two years," Miley told the audience. "A tradition they will definitely return to after tonight."
The "Doo It" songstress promised one wild night during her introductions, and everyone braced themselves as we waited to see if Miley would deliver.

The young host started off relatively tame by showcasing a few of her infamous Miley-isms, like sticking her tongue out and randomly grabbing her crotch. Then she moved on to sharing a couple of wacky-- but cute-- videos that she made with her celeb friends, including Tyga, Andy Samberg and Snoop Dogg. One of the videos even addressed her bizarre Instagram account, which surely baffles even her most dedicated fans.
But nothing good lasts forever. As the show continued, the crazy-Miley that many viewers feared would show up, began to rear her glittery head and she stumbled into quite a few faux pas.
First and foremost, her verbal spat with Nicki Minaj. To be fair, Nicki completely started that argument by referring to Miley as "the b-tch who had something to say" about her in the press, but Miley didn't handle it gracefully at all. You could feel the tension in the theater as Miley gave Nicki a blasé "congratu-f-cking-lations" and rolled her eyes at the award recipient. As a host, it probably isn't the best idea to start beefing with talent live on stage.

After that uncomfortable encounter, Miley continued to put everyone in an awkward position by coming out in a series of skimpy outfits that gave the fans below her a bit of a peep show. And as if that wasn't enough, when the VMA cameras went backstage before Miley's surprise performance, one of her boobs "accidentally" fell out. It's ok though, because her own father, Billy Ray Cyrus chuckled at his daughters nip slip.
At this point, Miley was definitely Team "Too Much," but she hadn't even performed yet.
Miley and her "Dead Petz" closed out the show with her personal ode to marijuana AKA her new song "Doo It." Her dancers, who might've looked familiar because they were all former contestants on RuPaul's Drag Race, wore outfits with pop art images and funky patterns covering their unmentionables. Miley rubbed and fake-licked the reality stars, making for one pretty raunchy and random performance.
All in all, Miley kept it pretty weird and relatively interesting. Would we like to see her back at the VMAs next year? Probably not. But one thing is for sure: this year's show wouldn't have been the same without her.
