Griffith Observatory Hosts Telescope Viewings of Solar Eclipse

Griffith Observatory hosted school groups and others today to view the partial solar eclipse. Lasting for only a few hours, a solar eclipse is when the moon passes between the sun and Earth. Astonomers and sky enthusiasts brought their telescopes to the observatory's lawn to view the eclipse.
