Episode 3 of “Play It Again, Dick” shows Ryan Hansen in front of candid camera, sitting in his living room, talking about his “Veronica Mars” co-star, Enrico Colantoni

Hansen discusses Colantoni’s past shows like “Just Shoot Me.” The shows he appears on, according to Hansen, don’t show his true colors. Hansen says Enrico is “ripped” and does things a bad a** would do (like go to Tijuana for cockfights).

With all this talk about Enrico Colantoni, of course, he is featured in this episode, but via video chat. As Colantoni and Hansen are talking, Enrico asks him to pick up a package and deliver it to Tom Hanks…”The Tom Hanks.” The package and the process to deliver the package sound super sketchy. Enrico tells Ryan to “make a run for it” if the cops pull him over. Enrico is also banned from coming to the U.S. for not paying taxes, so he’s visiting his roots in Canada. That might be a problem for starring in Ryan’s spinoff.

The next person to get on the show is Percy Daggs III (Wallace Fennel on “Veronica Mars”). His persona on the actual spinoff is completely unexpected. Daggs looks like a pimp with major attitude, to the point where Ryan Hansen looks frightened—even though Ryan’s persona is easy-going, without a care in the world, like Dick in “Veronica Mars.”

As Percy is ready to walk out of Ryan’s house, he tells Ryan that he won’t join the cast of the spinoff if Wallace’s character doesn’t handle things worthy of his character. He played Veronica’s best friend on the show, more as a sidekick than a lead. “No model airplane flying, no getting duck taped to flagpoles…” he says.

Lastly, Ryan gets stuck with a woman who was tagging along with Percy. He tells Ryan that she’s his problem now, and leaves. Ryan, still the easy-going person that he is, tells his audience that she needed a place to crash, and there goes another episode of “Play It Again, Dick.”
