North Korea warns that the release of a new American comedy about trying to assassinate Kim Jong Un would be perceived as an “act of war,” according to officials, provoking "merciless" retaliation.

The threat emerged after North Korean agricultural workers rallied in Nampho on Tuesday, vowing to take revenge against the United States should the movie be released.
