Known for playing a cop on television, actor Michael Jace has reportedly confessed to killing his wife, according to the Los Angeles Times

Jace admitted to shooting his wife of 10 years, April Jace, to a 911 operator after placing an emergency call. KNBC is reporting that Jace's wife died of multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Police found Jace leaving his South Los Angeles home when they arrived. "Domestic violence" is currently being cited as the motive for April Jace's murder by police officials.

Jace's two children, both under the age of 10, were also at home the time of the shooting. It is unclear if Jace's children witnessed the incident. Charges have not yet been filed by the District Attorney's office.
