After many accusations and rumors circulating about the possible cause for the split, Big Sean's rep has now released a statement obtained by E! News.

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off. The recent rumors and accusations reported by so-called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."

This statement comes after Star! Magazine claimed that Big Sean had cheated on Rivera. E! News states Rivera was seen without her engagement ring at the Marie Claire Fresh Faces event in Los Angeles. 

Rivera and Big Sean announced their engagement in October, just six months after they officially became a couple, according to Perez Hilton. 

Perez Hilton also wrote that the two celebrities aren't following each other on Twitter anymore - which is where the couple apparently met.
