Pinterest Butt Hack's Most Educational Posts

As stated by Dane Cook, "if you want to drive a girl insane simply delete her Pinterest page. It's like destroying her memories, hopes & desires." This week, those memories, hopes and desires were replaced by something a bit more...tangible. On Thursday, March 27 Pinterest was flooded with pictures of butts. Pinners woke up to find their favorite pictures of barnyard weddings replaced with a set of cheeks. The site's first major spam takeover caused an uproar among users, with users flooding Twitter with responses. Though the hack may seem to be all fun and games, we learned a few valuable life lessons.

Ways to work it out

The "butt hack" showed Pinners how to work out their buns, in basically every way. A large amount of the pictures linked to articles on butt workouts. These articles showed how to change problem areas, plump your glutes and Donkey Kick. There was even one that clearly identified the different muscles of the butt. Lose that picture of slow-cooked barbecue pork that the hacker probably replaced and get yourself a good workout.

How to be successful

Finally, women everywhere know how to become the awesome woman that they have always dreamed. Marie Curie, Helen Keller, Oprah: apparently the driving force behind all of their successes was, well, their behinds. Women too often lack mentors and examples of strong, positive leaders. It's good to finally have a path drawn out for women so that they know how to accomplish their goals.

At first glance, this image may look like a scene from "James and the Giant Peach," but look again. This YouTube snapshot of two women shaking their behinds on top of another woman's rear end became one of the primary images associated with the "Butt Hack." This mind-twister moves us all the way into the "Limbo" level of buttception.

How to look like a Victoria's Secret model

Thank all that is holy for this Pinterest post. We would have thought that it would be unrealistic to hold women to the ideal of Candice Swanepoel, but now we know that her beauty is not based on genetics, photoshop, and the fact that she has no desk job, but a single simple exercise. Wanna-be Adriana's everywhere, rejoice.

Yoga pants work nowhere

Yoga pants are inappropriate just about everywhere. Though their name implies that they are fit for getting fit, famous brand Lululemon was discontinued last year for using fabric that became too see-through when stretched (a.k.a when you stretch). This woman shows that yoga pants are just as impractical on the subway. Whoever holds that pole next, take caution.
