Victoria Beckham Launches Fashion Story With Skype

The inspirational documentary, which will debut Thursday, January 30 on The Skype Collaboration Project, reveals how the former pop star broke into the very competitive fashion industry and became a successful businesswoman.
“I was a Spice Girl, married to a footballer, I was trying to do something that no one had really done before,” said Beckham in the trailer. “I’ve always had to work hard for everything.”
Beckham first made a name for herself as Posh Spice, performing worldwide with the Spice Girls. After her singing and dancing career ended, she quickly transformed into a style trendsetter, constantly turning heads with her distinctive outfits.
Five years ago, Beckham unveiled her own fashion line and since then, she has created a global luxury brand that has garnered industry acclaim and market success. Now, she isn’t only known for wearing designer clothes – she creates them.
“We have now created something that is really meaningful, and that people are paying attention to,” said the company's CEO, Zach Duane.
Fans will also get the opportunity to connect with the designer on social media, and ask her questions on Skype’s Twitter account using the hashtag #AskVB on Wednesday, January 29. Also, submitted Skype video messages could be personally answered by Beckham herself.
