Everyone knows you have hit TV gold when you find a character you and your friends cannot stop quoting. Week after week our favorite characters deliver some of TV's funniest, wittiest, and most sarcastic lines we just can't help but repeat.

Take a look at 10 characters who consistently have us LOL-ing with their one-liners:

Schmidt, "New Girl"

As if there isn't enough to love about Schmidt already! This self-proclaimed ladies man never seems to be out of hilarious catchphrases and one-liners. Whether he is putting money in the "jar" or trying to make CeCe fall in love with him, Schmidt leaves us with pure gold we just can't get enough of.

Fave Quotes: "Damn it! I can't find my driving moccasins anywhere!"

"Schmidt happens"

Sue Sylvester, "Glee"

McKinley High's resident villain sure knows how to craft some elaborate insults. Sue's evil critique of her enemy Will Schuester makes for some of our favorite "Glee" quotes.

Fave Quote: "I thought I smelled cookies wafting from the ovens of the little elves that live in your hair."

Michael Scott, "The Office"

Cluelessness of all social norms, confidence, and a desire to be the center of attention makes Michael Scott a prime candidate for memorable TV moments.

Fave Quote: "That's what she said."

Blair Waldorf, 'Gossip Girl'

If you look past those designer studs and her Queen B status, true Gossip Girl fans know Blair Waldorf is also the queen of classic one-liners. This upper-east sider always has us laughing with her wit and cheeky personality. You know you love her.

Fave Quote: "Damn that mother Chucker"

Phil Dunphy, 'Modern Family'

America's favorite goofy dad never fails when it comes to top notch lines. Constantly getting himself into sticky situations at home and work, Phil leaves us laughing every time.

Fave Quote: "WTF: why the face?"

Damon Salvatore, "The Vampire Diaries"

Stuck with the goody-two-shoes Stefan and Elena all the time, Damon Salvatore sure knows how to bring it with his bad boy attitude. His witty banter and massive ego produce some of "TVD's" most memorable lines.

Fave Quote: "It's Founder's Day. I'm here to eat cotton candy and steal your girl."

Samantha Jones, "Sex and the City"

As one of the wisest, and perhaps naughtiest, woman on TV, Samantha Jones has an answer for everything. Her uncensored puns never fail to make us blush.

Fave Quote: "I'm a 'try-sexual'. I'll try anything once."

Louis Litt, "Suits"

While 'Suits' has quickly become the USA network's most buzzed about show, Louis Litt is becoming everyone's favorite quotable attorney. As he tries to prove himself to the office big-wigs, Louis gives us TV magic through his love of cats, "mudding," and catchphrases.

Fave Quote: "You just got Litt Up!"

Tamara, "Awkward"

Every teenage sitcom has the likable best friend, but on MTV's 'Awkward' we are in love with Jenna's snarky, redhead BFF, Tamara. You never know what is going to come out of her mouth, but when it does, you'll be sure to LOL.

Fave Quote: "It's spelled TAM-ara, but pronounced TahMARA, like if your birth control fails, you better Plan B it… Tamara!"

Barney Stinson, "How I Met Your Mother"

Everyone's favorite suit-wearing bro is known for using his wit and charm to get the girl- and major laughs.

Fave Quote: “It's gonna be legend-... wait for it... and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of that word is DAIRY!"
