Singer Kelly Clarkson was wed in the most precious ceremony this October. She wasted no time in getting pregnant; the star announced on Twitter she is expecting. 

It will be the first child for Clarkson and the third for her husband, talent manager Brandon Blackstock. 

Her tweet read: "I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)"

Clarkson has expressed her desire to have a child, even revealing she wants five children. 

The original “American Idol” winner said, "Well, I'm totally gonna have a girl. My first child will be a girl—I know it in my soul."

She denied her pregnancy last week on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” so the pregnancy must be in its very early stages.
