It seems like, recently, the Kardashian clan hasn’t been able to catch a break, gaining much media attention for their rocky relationships. In the midst of Kris and Bruce Jenner filing for divorce and speculation of Khloe and Lamar Odom separating, marital life is looking up for one Kardashian. That’s right; after two marriages and her share of on-again off-again relationships, it looks like Kim Kardashian is finally getting the fairytale ending she has always wanted.

Rapper Kanye West surprised Kardashian during her 33rd birthday on Oct. 21st when he proposed to the reality star with a 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring. If the jeweler sounds familiar, it’s probably because Schwartz also designed her last engagement ring. While her ring may weigh in at fewer carats than the one she was previously rocking circa 2011, something tells us that the match made in heaven this time around will last longer than 72 days. In Kanye’s words “Diamonds Are Forever”.

In 2000, Kardashian, only 19 years old at the time, married music producer Damon Thomas. After three years together, the couple separated. Kardashian has also been linked to singer Ray J, which many may argue played an integral role in the socialites claim to fame. However, it wasn’t long after their split until she found herself won over by one of USC’s very own, Reggie Bush. Once the couple called it quits, the Armenian beauty said “I do” for the second time to NBA player Kris Humphries. The couple finalized their divorce during summer 2013. 

West took the traditional approach of getting down on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage at San Francisco's AT&T Park, which he rented out for the night. The proposal also included an orchestra which played Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” according to E! Online. It has not yet been confirmed when the power couple will make their way down the aisle.
