USC Women's Basketball Lands Alabama Transfer Kaneisha Horn

“I think Kaneisha will be an incredible addition to our team,” said Cooper-Dyke in an interview earlier this week. “She will give us a much-needed toughness in our frontcourt and brings an ability to score as well.”
Horn, who graduated from Alabama this summer, averaged 8.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Crimson Tide in 31 games last season. She made the SEC All-Freshman team in 2010-2011 before sitting out the 2011-2012 season with a torn ligament in her knee.
Horn was highly touted in high scooll, being ranked as the No. 5 women’s basketball prospect in the nation at Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Alabama.
The 6’1 forward has two years of eligibility remaining and will likely be replacing the graduated Christina Marinacci, who earned various Pac-12 honors at the forward position in her time at USC.
