The 101 Freeway was shut down in the Woodland Hills area on Thursday morning due to what authorities described as a suspicious package.

A Los Angeles Police Department bomb quad vehicle and robot arrived at the location for an investigation.

All lanes were closed between Mulholland Drive and Shoup Avenue. The road was reopened after authorities determined that the package was not a safety threat.
