Ever since Rihanna arrived on the scene in 2005, she has taken Hollywood by storm. Rihanna has created hit after hit, been played non-stop on the radio and swept up awards from Billboards to Grammys. It seems that after all of her accomplishments, we are always left asking, “what’s next?” for the international pop star. Well, in a new interview, Rihanna reveals some big plans for the future: motherhood.

In an interview with Elle UK magazine, the 25-year-old singer said that in five years’ time she will “probably have a kid,” as well as take some time off from her busy schedule to focus more on herself. “I'll have set some things up so I don’t have to tour for the rest of my life, even though I love touring,” she said. “I want health and happiness in five years. I want to be healthy and happy”.

It seems that Rihanna has been planning to take this break for a while now. According to Closer magazine, Rihanna had already starting asking her record label bosses for time off so that she can get pregnant in as early as December.

In the same Elle UK interview, Rihanna also spoke about her new single and the inspiration behind the song, her 23-year-old boyfriend, R&B singer Chris Brown.

Of her single, Rihanna says, “'Stay’ is a story about having love that close and wanting it to last forever.” She goes on to talk about her relationship with Chris Brown. “I would definitely say that he [Chris Brown] is the one I have that kind of relationship with."

Rihanna has made it clear that it’s only a matter of time until a baby is on the way, and that Chris Brown will be the father. Do you think that this is a good idea? What are your thoughts?
