Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to the news and in all the worst ways. The CBS affiliate WUSA in Washington D.C. is the first to say enough is enough of LiLo’s drama.

It’s hard to remember a time when Lohan wasn’t in trouble and her constant legal battles litter the entertainment pages of most media outlets. Her recent IRS tax problems blend in with her myriad of health, financial, and career problems.

Fred D’Ambroisi of WUSA brought the idea of Lohan media embargo up on his twitter. The WUSA twitter account retweeted it soon after to see what viewers thought of the Lohan ban.

Responses were overwhelmingly positive if not harsh. D’Ambrosi tweeted, “OK. Due to popular demand, we just killed the :20 #LindsayLohan story in @wusa9 @5. The people have spoken!” (See the Tweet, and more, below).

However this doesn’t mean the end of all pop culture stories for WUSA, he reassures.

Lohan’s next project - following her widely panned performance in Lifetime's Liz & Dick biopic - is a role in the upcoming film The Canyons.
