Whitney Houston's Daughter Set To Star In Controversial New Reality Series

Everyone remembers “Being Bobby Brown”, right? The show that brought us gems, such as: .
Even though Whitney is no longer with us and Bobby Brown has stepped out of the spotlight, their daughter Bobbi Kristina is set to star in her own reality show on A&E and judging by the exclusive E! Online preview, it seems that it will cause just as much controversy.
This past spring, Bobbi Kristina was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring and rumors have been circulating ever since. It was believed that the 19-year-old was engaged to her adopted brother, Nick Gordon. Her reps tried to quickly shoot those rumors down. But this didn’t stop celebrity news reporters from speculating and today those rumors were confirmed. In the preview above Bobbi Kristina announces, "We're engaged!" to the disapproval of some of her family members.
The twosome was raised as brother and sister since the Browns adopted Nick at the age of twelve. But back in March, a source told Us Weekly that the couple’s relationship had “evolved a lot” and that they were “living as a couple” in Atlanta. This didn’t stop Brown’s aunt, Pat Houston, from expressing her feelings on the impending nuptials, "Engagement — this is unacceptable," she exclaimed in the short clip.
The clip also shows Bobbi grieving over her mother, adjusting to living with her aunt and uncle and one scene that may or may not relate to rumors of substance-abuse problems, she was seen drinking out of a wine glass and later being carried out of her home after falling ill.
“The Houstons: On Our Own” is slated for debut on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
