"Resurrection" begins with Emily having a flashback to her childhood. In the dream, young Emily is riding in the passenger seat of a car next to her mom who is singing. Emily asks her mom if she is sick and where her daddy is. Her mother replies that she is all better now that she is with Emily and not to worry about daddy because they are on a vacation. Her mom looks sunshiny and happy, but definitely seems a little crazy. Then the face of her mom morphs into the face of Victoria and she wakes up from the nightmare. Welcome to episode 2!!

Emily and Nolan continue to live as roommates in Emily's beach house, which is amazing because their banter is great as always. Emily is focused on helping get Charlotte out of rehab. Charlotte is being held there by a sketchy doctor and her father, who is attempting to steal her inheritance.

Nolan's company, Nolcorp, is being audited and a female account analyst named Padma is insistent that Nolan hire a CFO. By their second discussion, he concedes and decides that she should take the position. His time spent on Nolcorp distracts him from spying on Victoria.

Conrad Grayson is officially working with Ashley (Daniel's girlfriend) to conspire against him. Their relationship has seemed weird from the start of this season. So many dark demons! Conrad asks Ashley to make sure she keeps him away from Grayson Global's investor meeting.

Twenty minutes into the episode and Charlotte has busted out of rehab. She was allowed to leave thanks to Emily's detective work which she handed over to Daniel. He stormed into the rehab center looking dapper as ever and pissed. He threatened the doctor and got Charlotte released, though she says she wants nothing to do with Daniel, as he has been so absent in her life recently, and leaves with Emily.

Emily drives Charlotte home and on the way stops by the beach to let Amanda and Charlotte embrace, and inform Charlotte that she is going to be an aunt. It is unclear how this Amanda-Charlotte relationship may develop, but when Charlotte tells Victoria about the pregnancy, Victoria is unsurprisingly not pleased. On top of that, Conrad has cleaned out Charlotte's bank accounts by having a judge deem her mentally incompetent. The thought of having no money really pushes Victoria over the edge!

Victoria seems more psychotic than ever. First, she is conspiring with the creepy white-haired man at her cabin in the woods and planning to steal new identities and leave the country with Charlotte. When she tells the white-haired man she can't pay him until Charlotte receives her inheritance, he takes one of the fake passports he had prepared and storms out of the cabin. Then when Charlotte comes to visit her, she tells Charlotte that she never cared about her and only wanted access to her inheritance. She clearly doesn't mean what she says and the moment is a bit confusing, but presumably it's part of a bigger Victoria plan.

Victoria places a call to Conrad (who didn't even know she was alive at this point) and demands that he come see her immediately and follow her instructions. When he arrives at the cabin in the woods they share some venomous words with one another and then get down to what they do best: plotting.

Amanda takes a paternity test and it turns out Jack is the father, which he seems truly happy about. Emily lies to Amanda and tells her she helped fix the paternity test.

Daniel earns his way back into Charlotte's heart by opening a new bank account for her that their father cannot touch and transfers all of his inheritance into it. That's how you say brotherly love, at least in the Hamptons. She agrees to stay with him in Grayson manor.

Minute 38 and I am scared and gasping for breath. Scary white-haired man sneaking around Victoria's government protected cabin in the woods, he has a gun, what is happening??? Cops, sirens and a bloody and battered Victoria, oh my!!!!!!

In a shocking turn of events, Conrad and Victoria are back to scheming together once again and orchestrated a scene which frames the white-haired man as someone who kidnapped Victoria after the plane crash and has been extorting money from Conrad. In order to make this scenario seem believable, Conrad beats Victoria at her request and ties her to the radiator. The white-haired man shows up, sees the door of the cabin open and busts in with a gun out. The police show up, surround the cabin and the white-haired man runs off into the night. Conrad plays the part of relieved and happy husband.

Victoria and Conrad are escorted back to Grayson manor by federal agents. Understandably, Daniel is in complete shock to see his mother alive. Conrad sits down with the Feds and tells them that he has been doing everything to meet Victoria's abductors financial demands. He says that he stole Charlotte's inheritance to try to free Victoria. It is unclear to me why the Feds tolerate his story. Wasn't Victoria being hidden in the woods by the government until they could build a case against Conrad? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

A young preppy guy named Trey meets Declan in an alley and pays him $500 to hold on to a precious bracelet for a few days. Declan thinks it's a sketchy offer but accepts the money as he is desperate for cash. Poor Declan. With pregnant Amanda around and the stresses of running the bar, his life seems pretty sad these days.

Victoria is officially back on her throne at Grayson manor. All four Graysons are once again under the same roof. Victoria is nervous that Emily knows too much considering she visited Victoria at the cabin in the woods and learned that Conrad was responsible for bringing the plane down. It is clear she will be keeping a close eye on Emily.

Minute 50, just when I wasn't sure what on earth Victoria and Conrad had manipulated and was mildly (I'll admit it) concerned that Emily had lost control of the situation, her cell phone rings and she is right on schedule!!

When the white-haired man was being framed, he glimpsed the shell camera on the mantel and knew that Emily had been monitoring. He calls her to get the footage which would reveal the events that transpired at the cabin and that there was no ransom situation with Victoria.

Emily and the white-haired man convene alone at her beach house, a dangerous idea. As she is about to hand over the video evidence he is looking for, she tells him she needs something in return. When she first met the white-haired man he told her she fought "like her mother", and Emily wants to know how he knew her and what happened to her.

As Emily was already starting to piece together, it seems that Victoria and the white-haired man (posing as a federal agent) visited Emily's mother in the mental hospital, told her that David Clarke was a terrorist and that she would need to cooperate with them in order to keep her life. It seems they helped her leave the hospital, under the agreement that she would cooperate with them fully.

Minute 59 I am speechless! Just as the white-haired man is about to finish conveying the story about how he didn't kill Emily's mother, he pulls out a knife and tries to kill Emily!!! It is a fierce struggle when all of a sudden a shot is fired and the white-haired man slumps over. The hot British guy has appeared!!!! (You'll remember I predicted this in last week's recap). He had Emily under surveillance and rushed to her safety at just the right moment.

Can't wait to see what happens next, especially with the mysterious Brit around!

Check out the promo for next week's episode, "Confidence". It looks like another juicy one.
