After just having finished shooting “The Canyons” and the upcoming biopic “Liz & Dick" in which she stars as Elizabeth Taylor, Lindsay Lohan seemed to be making a professional comeback. However, reports are surfacing that put Ms. Lohan amid bizarre controversy yet again.

Lohan was scheduled to shoot a cameo appearance in “Scary Movie 5” this week, opposite the equally controversial Charlie Sheen, for Dimension Films’ fifth installment of the horror spoof franchise. According to multiple sources, producers began to get signs of brewing trouble when Lindsay ignored their phone calls and missed wardrobe fittings, rehearsals, and even her flight to the Atlanta set this past Sunday. Perhaps the strangest of claims was Lindsay’s alleged bout of “walking pneumonia,” which, sources say, Lindsay made in an effort to get out of her contract obligations.

She became increasingly hesitant about her commitment to the project since discovering the script mocked her personal life and even featured a kiss with Sheen. According to the New York Post, she “freaked out” and has “…been locked up in her hotel room at the Bowery Hotel.”

Lohan has since showed up to work after being picked up by a private jet and threatened with legal action. A representative of the actress denies the validity of all claims, stating, “These stories are untrue, and she is willingly fulfilling all of her obligations.”

Lohan made headlines earlier this year for finally ending a five-year stint of legal troubles including two DUIs, theft, multiple trips to rehab and jail, and probation violations.
