Leftist Politician Moves Into Second In Mexico's Presidential Race

Enrique Peña Nieto, the candidate of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (IRP), which ruled Mexico for most of the twentieth century but reportedly lost power due to corruption this past decade, is still the front-runner for this race, leading by just over 15 percent of the vote.
However, Lopez Obrador, who heads the coalition of leftist parties, has the support of those who oppose the IRP.
Recently, Lopez Obrador has been helped slightly by a new student movement against Peña Nieto, known as known as Yo Soy 132 or I Am 132.
