What's Being Said After Ten Years

Marking the 10th anniversary of the U.S. occupation in Afghanistan, the Taliban vowed to keep fighting until American soliders have left, said Reuters.
In an emailed statement from Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid:
"With the passing of the 10-year proud Jihad by the Afghan people against the invaders, we must remind it that divine victory is with us.
"If we hold tightly onto the rope of Allah, avoid insincerity, dissention, hypocrisy and other illnesses, then with the aid of Allah, our enemy will be forced to completely leave our country."
In the United States, the 10 year-mark served as a platform for protesters. According to NBC LA, peace activists in Los Angeles were taken into custody by police for blocking traffic after a march to the civic center federal building.
Among the protesters was actor Mike Farrell (from the TV series M*A*S*H) who voiced his disappointment that President Obama, a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, has not ended the war.
