Saturday may not have been the best day for the beach, but that did not keep hundreds of thirsty Angelenos from coming down to 3rd Street Pier and partaking in the 2nd Annual Septemberfest.  Created as L.A's answer to Oktoberfest, the event featured over 150 micorbrews, eight food trucks, and entertainment by Petty Cash and Black Crystal Wolf Kids, a cover band of all things Coachella.  Armed with a 4oz mug, beer lovers had four hours to enjoy brews from California, Oregon, and Asia while snacking on Balls on Tires and using some of the cleanest port-a-potties west of the 405.

Here’ s a run down of some of the beers tasted at Septemberfest that you may have never heard of but should try next time you’re ready to branch out!
