“The Talk” Fans Rally To Save Remini, Robinson Peete

Even after strong campaigns from fans and viewers proclaiming "Save Leah and Holly" were spread throughout the internet, it appears that Leah Remini's contract has officially not been renewed while Holly Robinson Peete's future remains uncertain.
Remini tweeted Thursday evening, "It is official: I am sorry to say that I have NOT been asked back on the show. Sorry to my fans. U worked so hard! I adore u guys."
Friday morning, Peete tweeted, "just overwhelmed by The Talk support. Love you guys. Still under contract but have not been picked up yet. #fingerscrossed #realtalk." She also responded to news that Remini was officially not coming back. "Devasted by the news that @LeahRemini was not asked back to @TheTalk_CBS. She brought humor, heart and authenticity."
Two possible replacements have began to float around including "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" mom Kris Jenner and radio host Sheryl Underwood.

“The Talk,” CBS daytime's talk show featuring co-hosts Julie Chen, Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert and Leah Remini, may have some new faces once season two debuts next month.
In a recent Deadline article, sources revealed Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini’s contracts would likely not be renewed for a second season set to premiere September 6.
Remini is known on the show for her great energy and sense of humor. Peete, known as the crazy sports momma, has showcased her dedication to autism. Both moms have added a unique voice to the show dedicated to mothers of all backgrounds.
When news broke earlier this month, fans immediately made their voices heard. On Twitter, a hashtag called #saveleahandholly began trending across the United States. Celebrities voiced their support for the two hosts including Jennifer Lopez and “The View” co-host Sherri Sheppard.
Peete tweeted to fans Aug. 22, “Thanks for all of the Twitter and FB TALK love! Truth is despite the press I've still been told nothing officially :-( hope to be back! Fun!” Remini also tweeted to fans claiming the decision was, “not our choice doll. Waiting to hear. Xoxo.”
After a successful July where ratings reached their highest with 2.21 million, it appears that “The View” rival has developed a winning formula and is only growing in fans and success. However, it appears that behind-the-scenes, new producers have been developing a new vision for the show.
