Chris Brown is doing the promotional rounds for his latest album, "F.A.M.E.," but the media focus on his life is bringing back the singer's checkered past.

On "Good Morning America" this morning, reporter Robin Roberts started bringing up questions about Brown's domestic violence history, namely his arrest in 2009 for beating his girlfriend at the time, pop singer Rihanna.

Brown reacted violently against the questions, appearing enraged that his personal life was taking focus off of his new album.

According to ABC, the singer stormed off the set, missing a scheduled performance on the show.

Before he left the building, Brown flew into a rage in his dressing room, smashing a window and later ripping off his shirt.

The news of his outburst is likely to not only tarnish the image Brown's quietly worked to rebuild, but also send him back in court.

Brown is currently on probation for his abuse of Rihanna, and any new charges could send him to prison.

Shortly after his outburst, Brown took to Twitter to vent: "I'm so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t." Since then, he's taken his tweet down, instead choosing to reach out to his fans.

No word on what legal action is being taken, although ABC did call the police.
