Planning Is Key When Living In Earthquake Country

It isn't a matter of if a large earthquake will hit Southern California, but when. There are many faults criss-crossing the state, including the one responsible for Monday's 4.7-magnitude shaking. But it doesn't take much to be ready when the ground starts moving.
The American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles has lots of tips of how to prepare for an earthquake or other disaster, including the supplies needed for a complete disaster supplies kit.
