With the heavy involvement of social media, the London Olympics has had a propensity for controversy and scandal.  Deemed the "Twitter Olympics," London has seen a number of players ejected from the games, as well as feuds and controversies that have erupted online and caused formal backlash from the Olympic committee and police.
