LAPD: 'We Have A Strong Case' Against Suspects In USC Shooting

Shell casings and a recovered stolen cell phone led to the arrests of two suspects Friday, 20-year-old Bryan Barnes and 19-year-old Javier Bolden. Both are still in custody, awaiting their arraignment Tuesday. Deputy Chief Patrick Gannon said the evidence mounted against them is fairly substantial.

Arrests Made In The Murders Of USC Students

Two men have been arrested in connection to the murders of two USC graduate students on April 11. LAPD Chief Charlie Beck said that forensic evidence linked the men to the case as well as to two other homicides.

Parents Of Slain Students File Wrongful Death Suit Against USC

The families of Wu Ying and Qu Ming filed the suit Wednesday, calling for damages from the school based on "intentional misrepresentation" and negligence in USC's courting of Chinese students. At issue are claims of safety around the South Central L.A. campus.
