We live in dangerous times. And the times are changing. As a reaction to a re-evaluation of the threat level the United States faces, President Obama and Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced a reassessment of the Europe-based missile defense program pursued by the Bush administration. Various pundits and analysts interpreted this policy shift as Obama permanently putting this part of U.S. missile defense on hold, indefinitely. But is he? Unfortunately not!
