Neon Tommy publishes original work from students at the University of Southern California and its alumni. Include your full name, e-mail address and phone number with each submission. We cannot guarantee publication, but will consider all work we receive.
TEXT
For text-based articles, please send your story and any accompanying graphics as e-mail attachments to the appropriate address:
VIDEO
For video, we prefer that you submit an original DV tape. This can be dropped off at our office during regular business hours or mailed to us. Please see the following specifications:
Original DV tape: Graphics must be turned OFF and script must be included (or at least time codes, names and titles for CGs). Neon Tommy will insert branded graphics and titles.
As a second option, we also accept Quicktime .MOV files. These should be submitted as e-mail attachments to the appropriate department, as listed above.
Quicktime .MOV file: Accepted if shot digitally with a Flip cam, digital camera, etc. When exporting the file, be sure to adjust settings to BEST POSSIBLE QUALITY.

AUDIO
All audio files should be submitted in best-possible-quality
MP3 format. These should be submitted as e-mail attachments to the appropriate addresses listed above.
Files can be simply converted to MP3 format using a number of audio programs, including iTunes, Adobe Audition and Audacity (free software download available
here).
