Remember Arnold, your favorite football-head cartoon character?

If so, then you'll remember that the series “Hey Arnold!” ended with the mother of all cliffhangers: Arnold finds his father's journal, which describes his parent's adventures in the jungle and contains a map of the route his parents took on their last trip into the jungle.

The series finale set everything up for a movie that would finally reveal what happened to Arnold’s parents, but alas the promised “Jungle Movie” was never produced.

However, Nickelodeon can now be taken off the blacklist of TV networks that have discontinued really great shows because they recently announced that they are bringing Arnold and his motley crew back to the screen for a brand new TV movie. At last, the gaping hole that was created by the unresolved plotline of a cherished childhood cartoon will be filled! All our questions that have endured a decade will be answered. This is a big deal.

“Hey Arnold!” was (and still is) one of the best Nick ‘90s cartoons because it was different than most others, which feature empty humor. It was a comically dark, but poignant cartoon that hid nothing from its audience. The characters all lived in poverty, yet they never seemed to take life too seriously because they were always able to laugh, even at themselves. Not every problem that arose in the show was resolved, but in the end Arnold and friends could still have a good time. And that’s life: everyone has problems, but everyone also has the capability to look on the bright side of things.

While the movie release date and more info has yet to surface, catch up with a ‘90s throwback by watching some episodes and the first, 2002 “Hey Arnold!” film.
