While some viewers may be focused on the feuding between this year’s “American Idol” judges, others are interested in which contestant will get their votes as they continue in the competition.

With two weeks of auditions behind us, we decided to look at some of the most memorable singers thus far. Could one of them become the next “American Idol?” We will find out Wednesdays and Thursdays on FOX.

Burnell Taylor
He received a standing ovation from the judges and even made Mariah Carey tear up. Plus, his story of surviving Hurricane Katrina in his hometown of New Orleans is inspiring.

Charlie Askew
After describing himself as “socially awkward,”  we weren’t sure what to expect from the student. We were pleasantly surprised.

Megan Miller
Known as Miss Baton Rouge, Megan proved she had more than beauty. Plus, we are impressed she could perform on crutches.

Lazaro Arbos
Host Ryan Seacrest said it was, “One of the most emotional auditions we've had.” Meet the singer with a stutter that magically disappears whenever he sings.

Kez Ban
A street performer and up and coming fire thrower who comes from “Planet Earth,” Kez Ban may be unique…but so is her voice.

Gurpreet Singh Sarin
Nicknamed the Turbanator, the singer almost didn’t make it through. However, Nicki Minaj couldn’t resist his look and soft voice.

Summer Cunningham
Last but certainly not least, meet the contestant who witnessed the fight between Carey and Minaj during her audition.
