House speaker John Boehner announced his resignation Friday morning. The conservative Ohioan has recently come under pressure from the Republican party to defund Planned Parenthood, even if it means a government shutdown.

Some Twitter users, conservative and liberal, rejoice his resignation. Others are hesitant — believing that Boehner’s decision leaves uncertainty with the open position.
