The biggest night in Hollywood finally arrived, and of course, red carpet apperances can't be ignored — it sometimes provides the best anecdotes. We've compiled a list of the best moments from interviews before the show:

Anna Faris & Chris Pratt As Parents

The kids-at-heart couple joked about going home after the Oscars to their son, Jack. "We have a little todler at home, so we're not going home," Faris said, to which Pratt added, "Going out drinking for a week straight. He's two-and-a-half, he can take care of himself for a few days." The duo never fails to crack us up.

Dakota Johnson's Mom and "Fifty Shades of Grey"

Given that Dakota Johnson brought her mom, actress Melanie Griffith, to the Oscars, it was inevitable that she would be asked whether she's seen her daughter's latest film. After back-and-forth chatter about whether or not she wanted to see it, Johnson exclaimed, "Mom, you don't have to see it. Jesus."
