Air + Style Los Angeles 2015: Event Preview

What do you get when you bring together amazing artists like Kendrick Lamar and the Winter Olympics? Air + Style is the answer.

Thirty-two winter sports competing athletes and 18 bands in the shadow of a 16 story, 450 foot long snow ramp-these are just a few of the spectacular features will be at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena from February 21 to 22. Curated by Olympic veteran Shaun White, Air + Style festival finds its way to Los Angeles after having found success in Innsburck 21 years ago and Beijing 5 years ago. 

Unlike any other music festival out there, Air + Style brings the world of competitve snow boarding and music together, making it a one of a kind event. Spanning three stages, the music portion of the festival will feature amazing artists from all over the world over the weekend. Kendrick Lamar, Steve Aoki, Diplo, The Flaming Lips, Portugal. The Man, Phantogram, Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros and Cults are among the acts that the festival will host late February. (You can find the full lineup at Air + Style's website.)

Not only that, 16 snowboarders and 16 skiiers from all over the world will compete at the Rose Bowl during the festival. Some of the athletes that will compete are Sage Kotsenburg,  2014  Olympic  goldmedalist in snowboard slopestyle, Mark McMorris, 2014 Olympic bronze medalist in snowboardslopestyle, Bobby Brown, four-time Winter X Games ski slopestyle gold medalist as well as JossChristensen, 2014 Olympic gold medalist in ski slopestyle. 

Food, Music and Sports: Air + Style just about covers everything you could want from a festival. 

Single day tickets are available for $50 and two-day festival passes are available for $90 through Ticketmaster.
