Everyone's favorite love-it-or-hate-it occasion is right around the corner and it's time to make some last minute preparations.

You've got the flowers, the chocolates, the accompanying stuffed teddy bear for your bae.

Or you have the perfect rom-coms queued up on Netflix because the Beatles got it all wrong. Netflix (and pizza) is all you need, not love.

Or maybe you're channeling your inner Liz Lemon and think "Valentine's Day is a sham created by card companies to reinforce and exploit gender stereotypes."

But the perfect playlist to fit your mood is still missing! Never fear - Neon Tommy's got the setlist for any Valentine's Day situation right here.

For the One In a Happy Relationship

1. In a serious, committed relationship? Or maybe you're just trying to drop some not-so-subtle hints... Either way, try Bruno Mars' "Marry You" on for size.

2. Michael Jackson's catalogue is filled with tons of uplifting tracks just made for Valentine's Day, including "Love Never Felt So Good," "The Way You Make Me Feel," and "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)."

3. Be sure to add in Echosmith's latest single "Bright" off their debut album "Talking Dreams" (2013) if you're looking for an indie-pop twist to your playlist.

For the Masochistic Heartbroken One

4. Avril Lavigne's "When You're Gone" has a pretty self-explanatory title... You can also throw in pretty much all of Lavigne's 2011 record "Goodbye Lullaby," which is largely based on her divorce from Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley.

5. But of course we have to throw in a mention to the reigning King and Queen of Sad Love Songs - Sam Smith and Adele! From Smith's "Stay With Me" to Adele's "Turning Tables," basically any song these two have released is game.

For the One Feeling Freed From the Oppressive Shackles of a Relationship

6. Out of a terrible relationship and feeling good? You better put Ariana Grande's Zedd-produced hit "Break Free" at the top of your playlist. For a more pop-punk feel, try At Sunset's cover of the tune, which is also mashed up with the equally-empowering "Chandelier" by Sia.

7. And don't give yourself a chance to regret that break-up - add Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd's "Really Don't Care" and channel some of that cheeky attitude.

8. For the real 90's OGs out there, the ultimate "I just broke up with someone, but whatever" song is hands down *NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye."

For the One Celebrating Singles' Awareness Day

9. Obviously, put Beyoncé's "***Flawless" in your playlist because that's what you are. You don't need to be in a relationship to be awesome.

10. Be sure to throw in any of P!nk's wonderfully sassy songs as well. Some songs to consider include "Raise Your Glass," "So What," and "True Love."

For the "Fifty Shades of Grey" Fan

11. Forget this weekend's release of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Rihanna was light years (and by light years, I mean five months) ahead of the book with her single "S&M"... Either the singer's original solo version or the duet with Britney Spears will do.

12. Did you know Green Day also made a song about BDSM? Yup, you read that right. It's called "Blood, Sex, and Booze" and was released on the punk rock band's 2000 album "Warning."

For the One Who Just Doesn't Care

13. Do you ever feel like you're in a "kingdom of isolation" suffocated by overly-affectionate couples everywhere you turn? Then make sure to add "Let It Go" to your playlist... Just replace "cold" with "PDA" in "The cold never bothered me anyway" and you're good to go. (Plus you get to annoy everyone who's just about had it with all things "Frozen.")

14. "Shake It Off" with Taylor Swift because you're just too fabulous to deal with this over-commercialized holiday. If you'd prefer Motown to Swift's particular brand of pop, throw in the Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox version instead.

15. And complete your "IDGAF" Valentine's playlist with the ultimate troll song (no, not "Fixer Upper" from "Frozen"...) "Everything Is Awesome" by Tegan and Sara and The Lonely Island from "The Lego Movie" (2014).
