St. Louis Fights To Keep NFL's Rams From Moving To L.A.
The St. Louis Rams may be the Los Angeles Rams in the future, if Rams team owner Stan Kroenke's plans to build a privately financed stadium in Inglewood, California are any indication.

Or, more accurately, the Rams would return to Los Angeles, where they played until the end of the '94 season before moving to St. Louis for a better stadium.

Now that the aging Edward Jones Dome again has the owner looking for a better lease, St. Louis has countered with stadium plans of their own. A proposed open-air stadium near downtown St. Louis would seat 64,000 and cost approximately $900 million.
