Often left in the shadow of the highly anticipated women’s fashion, this year, the men at the Golden Globe Awards totally rocked their looks. This year’s red carpet showcased a variety of trends, whether classic or daring.

Classic Tuxedo

Many men opted to go for the classic black tuxedo. This look is both timeless and reliable: no man can look bad in a black and white tux. George Clooney worked the look next to his wife.

Navy

Navy blue tuxedoes were the biggest trend of this year’s Golden Globes. This spin on the classic tux was fresh and masculine—it gave each of its wearers an opportunity to show their personal style. Matt Bomer stood out in his navy tux.

Velvet

"The Theory of Everything"  Best Actor winner Eddie Redmayne wins for the best look of the night. His black velvet suit jacket was the best way to add his own personal style to the classic tuxedo. As the only person wearing that look, he made the kind of impact that only a winner could. Bravo.
