On Wednesday, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) said that a lab technician at the Atlanta, Ga. building, may have been exposed to the Ebola virus due to scientists accidentally transferring the virus to another building.

Currently, the scientist hasn't shown any symptoms of the disease, but will be observed for the next three weeks should any symptoms appear.

The CDC said that dozens of other scientists, who have entered the building shortly after the transfer, haven't been exposed to the virus and that the public isn't as risk of getting exposed.

"I am troubled by this incident in our Ebola research laboratory in Atlanta,” CDC Director Tom Frieden said. “We are monitoring the health of one technician who could possibly have been exposed and I have directed that there be a full review of every aspect of the incident and that CDC take all necessary measures."
