U.S. Postal Service Hacked For Personal Data

The United States Postal Service annouced on Monday their system was hacked, releasing information on employees and customers.

Some 750,000 employees' social security numbers, birthdates, and addresses were compromised, including retired postal workers.

USPS is currently witholding details about the hack, but it was discovered in mid-September. No customer credit card information was stolen, said officials.

The attack on USPS is one of several hacks of big companies in the last year which have compromised customers' personal information, including Target and Home Depot.
