Republicans Win Senate In Victory Everyone Saw Coming
Republicans have gained control of the Senate for the first time in eight years, in an unsurprising victory that pretty much everyone saw coming for months. Fox News was the first cable news outlet to call the Senate for the GOP, barely containing its glee with a block letter chyron that seemed better suited for announcing the imminent arrival of extraterrestrials or the debut of a new Obama bill that forces everyone into same-sex unions.

But after a hard-fought campaign where both Democrats and Republicans spent the GDP of a small nation trying to keep our country's upper legislative body at an impasse, conservatives can now chide their opponents on Facebook and sarcastically tweet that liberals should use their beloved Obamacare to treat their sick political burns. Oh snap.
