It's that time of year again! The nominees for the 2015 People's Choice Awards were announced Tuesday morning in Beverly Hills. Executive Producer Mark Burnett introduced this year's hosts, Anna Faris and Allison Janney, stars of the CBS comedy "Mom."

Two-time PCA nominees Faris and Janney cracked several jokes as they commented on last year's PCA and introduced the announcers. Janney joked, "Luckily, what happens at the People's Choice Awards stays at the People's Choice Awards," to which Faris added, "unless someone tweets it."

Actors and actresses announcing the nominees were Dave Annable from "Red Band Society," John Cho from "Selfie," Katharine McPhee from "Scorpion," Dylan McDermott from "Stalker," Cristin Milioti from "A to Z," Gina Rodriguez from "Jane the Virgin," and Bellamy Young from "Scandal."

PCA president Fred Nelson says over 70 million people casted their votes to produce the nominees.

Shailene Woodley is in the spotlight this year, as she received four nominations. She is twice nominated in "Favorite Movie Duo," one for "Divergent" with Theo James and another for "The Fault in Our Stars" with Ansel Elgort. In the music category, Sam Smith leads with four nominations, including "Favorite Breakout Artist" and "Favorite Male Artist." TV shows "Grey's Anatomy," "Supernatural" and "The Vampire Diaries" each took home five nominations.

Several new categories were added this year at the wish of the fans, including "Favorite Dramedy" and "Favorite TV Character We Miss Most."

A few announcers had a pleasant surprise as they found out that their shows or themselves were selected. Such were the cases for Dylan McDermott, nominated as "Favorite Actor in a New TV Series," and Scandal, which was nominated for "Favorite Network TV Drama," just to name a few. Rodriguez says she had no idea "Jane the Virgin," in which she plays the central character Jane, was chosen.

"People's Choice Awards is literally, for me, ultimate, ultimate because it's the people deciding what they want to watch," Rodriguez said. "It's the people that make your dreams come true."

She remained humble about the nomination, crediting her co-stars and saying she is "no one without them." As she planned to go on set after the announcement, she couldn't wait to celebrate with them.

"It's 'Jane the Virgin,' but it's really 'Jane and Her Gang,'" she said.

People's Choice Awards will air live on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 from 9-11 p.m. ET on CBS.
