Dallas Zoo Names Baby Giraffe

The newest addition to the Dallas Zoo, a baby giraffe, will be named Kopano, which means "united."

Naming rights were bought at a fundraising event.The donor, who wished to remain anonymous, created a poll for the public to choose between three names and nominate a Dallas-Fortworth school to recieve a free trip to the zoo.

The naming rights of a baby giraffe were sold for $50,000 last month and the zoo says the money will go to wild life preservation.
