We’ll be hearing Hall and Oates’ “Alone Too Long” as the “Hello Ladies” theme song once again—maybe.

That’s right—the canceled show is coming back as an HBO film at 10 pm Nov. 22. It seems Stuart is still trying to win that lucky lady.

According to Indiewire, the movie will show Stuart trying to set himself up with a temporary date when is ex-girlfriend is visiting with her husband from the U.K. In a panic, he ends up using his friend Jessica (Christine Woods) as his girlfriend to impress the others. His friends compare his relationship with her to the movie "When Harry Met Sally." As the ads for the HBO movie say, it’s “the final seduction.”

If the movie is anything like the short-lived series, everything is going to go wrong for Stuart, and he and Jessica will once again only have each other to turn to. The first season had us wanting them to open up their eyes and realize they were meant for each other.

Even though the plot of the show was fairly predictable, the show makes fun of Stuart because he is shallow yet charming in an idiotic way. The plot doesn’t run deep, but it is filled with comedy in the mockery of dating life today.

The series had a successful first season—or maybe not. “Hello Ladies” wasn’t renewed for a second season. Stephen Merchant who plays Stuart is a successful British comedian. He is known for the U.K. version of “The Office.” He is a frequent writer and director for “Hello Ladies," named after his successful stand up show with the same title.

The first and only season of the series introduces us to Stuart and his friends. He is living in Los Angeles looking for modern love, but finds nothing but unhappy endings to his short relationships. He always has his trusty friend/housemate, Jessica who is an actress looking for work. The series shows her somewhat-romantic relationship with her agent, Glenn (Sean Wing).
