Body Love Week at USC, put on by the Women's Student Assembly, hosted self-proclaimed sexual figurehead for chubby Asian girls everywhere, Kelly Shibari, on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Shibari, a once-porn star, now works in the industry as a producer.

Titled "Sexy Du Plus: How to Feed & Care for Your Inner Sexy," the talk was informal yet informative.

With only about 20 attendees, the discussion was less of a presentation and more of an interactive forum. Charismatic and vivacious, Shibari has a skill for getting people to open up. No male USC students were in attendance, which surprised Shibari, but fazed no one else.

The best part by far was Shibari's random quips of humor, most of which also had a more significant takeaway for females everywhere.

Some of the most notable:

1. Before attending her first porn conference, she had "no idea that skinny girls had cellulite, bad skin, boobs pointing in different directions."

The takeaway: Everyone has hangups. No one is perfect, despite what the media tells us.

2. "They make most money by making you the most unhappy."

The takeaway: The porn industry, like any industry, cares primarily about a profit margin. Hence, they want you to be unhappy, so that you buy their product  in an effort to be be happy. This is the basis of the beauty industry, in its broadest spectrum.

3. "Girl on top is hard - it's so freaking difficult!" This elicited snaps and laughs from an enraptured audience. "Because thighs! You can't do this without killing yourself. He moves, the bed moves, you don't really move."

The takeaway: Sex positions have to take into account logic. Knowing what kind of positions work best for your body type and your partner's is essential for good sex.

4. Porn teaches young males that "All girls must love double anal."

The takeaway: Porn is how most males first come into contact with sex. As Shibari points out, there is a need to explain to boys that this is not what real sex is like; porn is performance. What is being taught through the medium, as a result, needs to be carefully considered. This does not make porn bad, but rather powerful, in that it has the power to teach. Porn has been historically geared towards men and generally misogynistic, painting women as mere objects of desire. Porn of the future is going to need to evolve to keep up with changing norms.

5. "I have big boobs, just like you have brown hair."

The takeaway: All anything is, is genetics. This is the true essence of body love. You get what you get so you might as well like it.

Shibari, by owning her self, body, and sexuality, is a role model for girls everywhere.

The free cupcakes, condoms and vibrators were an added bonus for those who stayed 'til the end.
